Summer 2012

Thought I had best add some new photos :)  Linda from Prairie Flower Farm mentioned me on her blog today! Thank you Linda for the kind words, your blog is a treat and a joy.  This has been a difficult summer for my family.  In April my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.  We were blessed to be able to spend his remaining time together as a family.  He was a simple, kind and generous man who's only wish was to spend his days doing the things he loved - no elaborate bucket list - visiting with friends and family, family picnics, country drives and rides on his old Ferguson tractor were his only desire.  He went home on August 25, 2012.  Life without him is difficult...

Hebrews 6:19 to 20 (NIV) ~ We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf.

My Pal Little Miss Hero, she is a joy!
Wild roses grow beside our old barn...
Blue Flag Iris' grow wild in Nova Scotia, these were at Port Hilford beach.
Our little friend Molly sports Nova Scotia Tartan!
The mist from the Black Brook, following a summer storm.
One of the many drives the Jack man and I took this summer, overlooking the Northumberland Strait, Nova Scotia.  Isn't it inviting?  Sit and stay a while!
